Any printer that plays a critical role in your practice should have two printers online and usable.  The invoice and the Rx label printing functions both need to be networked to more than one printer.  If you can, have two laser printers in the practice and know how to redirect invoices to that second printer if necessary.  The Rx label printer can also have a “ready” backup option.
